Hey everyone, we are approaching the 48-hour mark and the campaign is flying, thank you to everyone who continues to share the project, it's amazing how much impact it has had!
Yesterday I introduced myself and invited you to share your stories so we could get to know each other better, thank you to everyone who shared something about themselves. I also asked you to send photos of your cats which resulted in retweet a cat day.
Before I move on to the important things, I'd like to take a moment to share with you just some of the cats (and animals who think they are cats) who are supporting The Isle of Cats. As much as this game has been designed for everyone, it brings a smile to my face to see so many cat lovers amongst us.
A quick note on project updates
Throughout the campaign I will keep you informed and updated of everything going on, but I prefer not to send updates every day. Typically, you will receive an update every 2-3 days to spare your inboxes and keep them valuable. If you have any questions at all, you can always find me in the comments!
Play The Isle of Cats with Frank
On Saturday at 18:00 BST, 13:00 EST, 10:00 PST I will be live streaming The Isle of Cats and I would love for you to join me, I will send out the details of where you can find the stream in the next update! This will be a very interactive playthrough and I would like to invite you all to come and play with me and get a chance to experience the game.
Introducing the cats
Over the coming weeks I will be introducing you to the different cats you can find in The Isle of Cats, today I would like to start with The Blue Hissnipper!
A touching moment
Finally, I'd like to thank Georgina.
When I designed The Isle of Cats my primary goal was to design a fantastic game with a great theme, but I had also hoped to have an underlying message about saving and rescuing cats. This is something that I will bring up once in a while where it feels right. While I assume Georgina had planned to foster this kitten for a while, it is incredibly touching to have it named after me and to know that little Frank has been given a safe home to live in.
Until next time
Please continue to share your stories with me, introduce your cats on Twitter, and spread word about the game.
Have a fantastic day!
- Frank
